Project 2-2
Bedroom

This bedroom originally felt enclosed and dim due to heavy window cage, dark flooring, and and outdated fixtures. Through structurally intact, it lacked warmth, personality, and functionality. The goal was to refresh the space by maximizing light, enhancing closet usability, and softening the overall atmosphere with cohesive styling and material updates.

-Window & Lighting Enhancements
Removed the metal security cage from the window allowing more natural light into the space.
Replaced the existing light fixture with a paper lantern-style ceiling light to provide a softer glow.

-Closet Optimization
Updated the built-in closet by installing a curtain enclosure and adding interior lighting for improved usability.
-Flooring Installation
Installed new laminate flooring in a light wood tine to add warmth and create a cohesive look.
-Doorway Modification
Converted the traditional bedroom door to a space-saving sliding door to enhance functionality.
-Furnishing & Styling
Fully furnished the room with a bed, desk, chair, and minimalist.
