Bathroom

This bathroom suffered from significant water damage behind the shower walls, leading to extensive mold growth throughout the room. The existing shower, sink, and toilet fixtures were severely outdated and compromised by moisture issues. Additionally, roof leaks contributed further damage during rainy conditions, exacerbating mold and structural problems. the renovation aimed to fully remediate mold, improve ventilation and lighting, enhance plumbing layout, and modernize fixtures to create a clean, spacious and functional bathroom.

-Lighting & Electrical
Redirecting ceiling wiring, installing two new recessed ceiling lights for enhanced brightness.
Installed and rewired new electrical fixtures, improving functionality and aesthetics.

-Water Damage & Mold Remediation
Completely demolished existing bathroom fixtures (shower, sink, toilet).
Removed section of walls to identify all water leaks.
Fully dried and treated damaged wooden framing , reinforcing structural integrity.

-Plumbing & Fixtures
Collaborated with plumber to repair leaks and reposition plumbing to optimize layout.
Extended plumbing to bathroom corner to create more open space.
Coordinated with workers to installed new shower fixtures and a custom-tiled corner shower area.
Replaced sink, faucet, and toilet with contemporary fixtures.

-Roofing & Ventilation
Coordinated with roofing specialists to repair leaks causing interior damage.
Installed a new ventilation fan, including cutting a new vent hold through the roof for improved airflow.

-Surface & Finished
Treated walls and ceiling with mold-resistant products; ventilated thoroughly until fully dry and mold-free.
Patched and repaired walls before applying mold and mildew resistant paint throughout.
Coordinated to reglaze existing bathroom floor for a clean, cohesive finish.

-Cabinetry & Storage
Installed modern storage cabinetry and shelving units, maximizing utility and aesthetics.

Before & After Impact

The renovation drastically transformed a water damaged, mold-infested bathroom into a fresh, modern, and functional space. Significant improvements in lighting , ventilation, and plumbing created a more spacious feel and eliminated persistent moisture issues. Modern fixtures and cabinetry have significantly increased both usability and visual appeal, making it ideal for comfortable everyday use.
